Youth Services Action Plan

Stonnington’s Middle Years & Youth Services provides opportunities for children and young people aged 6 to 25 years to challenge themselves and thrive through innovative, responsive and evidence-informed services and programs. We foster opportunities for partnership and collaboration with community stakeholders to enhance community wellbeing and respond to community needs.

Stonnington Youth Services provides services and programs for young people 12 - 25 years who live, work, study and/or visit Stonnington, and is located at the Grattan Gardens Community Centre, 40 Grattan Street, Prahran. Youth Services is a generalist, voluntary service that currently delivers a range of services and programs that include:

  • Case management and support
  • Engagement and Leadership Programs
  • School based Programs
  • Recreational Activities
  • Youth Events
  • Community & Sector Development and Collaboration

We are currently reviewing the services and programs we offer young people and want to hear from you about the challenges young people are experiencing, and the types of services and programs we should be delivering in the future that respond to their needs.

This is an opportunity to let council know what you think is important and help shape services and programs for young people in Stonnington over the next three years. Feedback and input will be used to inform the development of the new 2021 – 2023 Youth Action Plan.

The 2021 – 2023 Youth Services Action Plan will set out clear actions for implementation against key priority areas, including measures to track progress, to ensure the wellbeing of all young people in Stonnington.
