The City of Stonnington acknowledges we are on the Traditional Lands of the Kulin Nations and pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The City of Stonnington is seeking feedback on its draft Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2021-2023 which outlines Council’s vision, actions and commitment to reconciliation.

The draft RAP focuses on four key areas – respect, relationships, opportunities, and governance, and includes sixteen key actions that contribute to reconciliation.

In developing the draft RAP, Council worked closely with Reconciliation Australia, Traditional Owners and local community groups.

The draft RAP follows the Reconciliation Australia ‘Innovate’ template which provides the structure, mandatory focus areas and a majority of the actions. Whilst feedback is welcomed on the whole RAP only the yellow highlighted ‘actions’ and ‘deliverables’, can be modified, all other ‘actions’ are mandatory.

We are seeking community input from 6 October to 31 October 2021. Please read the draft RAP and submit your feedback below.

**Please note that due to unforeseen delays some timelines in the RAP will be modified prior to Council adoption
