The draft Mutual Respect Charter supports our values of a providing a safe and respectful workplace. It is based on the principle of mutual respect and cooperation.

The City of Stonnington has a zero-tolerance policy in relation to any harm, abuse, aggressive behaviour or threats directed towards Council or its staff. For the City of Stonnington to ensure that matters are dealt with fairly, efficiently and effectively and that occupational health and safety standards and duty of care obligations are adhered to, the draft Mutual Respect Charter sets out the rights and responsibilities expected to be observed and respected by all parties

The Charter sets out a shared responsibility: 1. Safe workplace expectations for our staff in dealing with the community and our customers. 2. Our commitment to serving the community and what people can expect when interacting with Council and its staff.
