Draft 2020/21 Budget

Consultation has concluded

In the early stages of the formulation of this draft budget Council undertook an online community engagement program during October and November 2019 whereby we asked our community "What would you like Council to fund in the 2020/21 budget?". We received many innovative ideas. The commitments outlined in the budget are in response to the feedback gathered, and an analysis of relevant trends.

The City of Stonnington’s Draft 2020/21 Budget has now been developed and the community is invited to provide feedback. The draft Budget has been prepared to enable the achievement of our Annual Plan objectives and deliver on the strategies of our Council Plan 2017-2021.

Written submissions on the Draft 2020/21 Budget are invited until 5pm Thursday 30 July 2020 and will be heard at a Committee meeting on Monday 17 August 2020 at 6pm (subject to COVID-19 public health restrictions and practices) at the Malvern Town Hall. The final Budget will be considered by Council for adoption on Monday 31 August 2020.
