Stonnington Planning Scheme Review

The Planning Scheme is a legal document that sets out the objectives, policies and provisions for land use, development and the protection of land. It includes State Government provisions, as well as local policies and a strategic vision specific to Stonnington.

The review

The review evaluates and reports on the alignment between current state and local policies, the Municipal Strategic Statement and Council Plan 2017-2021 and draws on community feedback. It will also produce a list of recommended actions.

At its meeting of the 4 June 2018 Council endorsed the Planning Scheme Review final report and recommended that it be forwarded to the Minister for Planning.
