Sustainable Environment Strategy

Council has begun the process to review and update the Sustainable Environment Strategy 2013-2017.

This strategy outlines Council’s priorities for enhancing the local environment and improving both community and corporate sustainability. It plays an important role in shaping the future health and liveability of our City.

Council will focus on a number of key areas over the coming years to improve sustainability within its own operations as well as support wider community education and engagement including energy conservation, water management, waste management, biodiversity and sustainable transport.

To develop the new Sustainable Environment Strategy, Council will seek input from the Stonnington community on environmental priorities and issues of interest.
